The new emBLOG article gives a short overview on how to use and customize the emSBC-Argon (based on STM32MP1 CPU) to add sensors and graphic user interface. The goal of this little project was to integrate sensors from a Raspberry Pi pHAT and display the results on a QT5 user-interface. In this article, we describe two sensors examples which are the BMP280 from Bosch for temperature/pressure and the LSM303D from STMicroelectronics accelerometer.

emtrion's Board Support Packages are optimally adapted to our hardware. This allows you to start your own application development quickly and flexibly. Solutions for the dynamic range of embedded systems require a constant software updates.

The SBC-SAMA5D36 is based on the Microchip ATSAMA5D36 processor and supports the Linux operating system. The previous Linux version Yocto Dizzy (1.7) has now been replaced by the current version Yocto Sumo 2.5.3. Read the details in our emBLOG.
